"Front Off" |
|
| |
| Today, a start was made to cleaning one of the bases where the bench seats fit into at the rear of the lower deck. |

Next the front lower panels were removed from D23. It is anticipated that while these are off the vehicle, they will be sanded down, have any fibre glass defects rectified, have the holes returned for the fog lamps - which will be sourced and re-fitted.
Interestingly, the rear of the side fibre glass components still have "581/2" marked on the back of them - which is the body number for D23, so it seems highly likely that these are original from new. |

| Whilst the front panel was being removed, a minor re-shuffle was taking place within the garage. This freed up space on the nearside of D23, allowing some side on pictures to be taken. |

| Whilst the front was fitted, it was observed that the nearside of the front was slightly pushed in. Once the front had been removed, the reason was discovered - the frame to which the front is bolted too was slighly bent in. This should hopefully push back out again. |
